This southwest Calgary bungalow located in Rutland Park was no longer functioning fora young family of 4, so we added 800 SF to the main floor and carefully designed each space for maximum usage. The clients wanted a minimal mid century style with subtle accents of colour + texture to reflect their personality in the space. A contemporary balance of white, walnut, oak, concrete, black leathers, and grey upholstery created the perfect canvas for geometric textiles, fresh greenery + their existing artwork collection.We mixed both iconic and budget friendly pieces to provide specific purpose for each individual area.The main floor renovation of this home features a large mudroom with custom storage, open concept kitchen/dining/living, a built-in hallway desk, kids bedrooms + guest bath, and a spacious master w. ensuite + walk-in closet.
